Bloggiesta

Ah! I totally forgot to post about this yesterday. I guess I had a lot on my mind because I’ve been working on blog stuff all week. Anyway, here’s my to-do list. I’m not sure how much time I’ll actually have the rest of the weekend to work on things. I have some things due for class on Monday, so I have to work on that too. Still, I have some good things on my list, some of which have already been done.

Bloggiesta To-Do List

  • Schedule all posts for next week – I’m trying to get in the habit of planning a week ahead.
  • Create a blog planner - I’m not happy with the ones already out there, so I’m making my own.
  • Do at least one mini challenge
  • New theme? – For now, I’m keeping the header & colors. I just want to change it up a bit.
  • Update pages – They’re probably out of date, and I have some ideas to spruce them up.
  • Be social! – Twitter and commenting and such. I’m trying to work on that, too!

Other things happened, too. I migrated to a new host today. I’m at BookHost now. I think I’m going to love it. I actually didn’t do any of the work, though. It was done for me. That’s a big reason I went ahead with it. I would not have had time to do that on my own. It’s going to be a weekend of awesome change here!

Wrap-up

I don’t think I did too bad considering I also had to write a paper for class. My blog planner was a huge project that took up most of Thursday and Friday. It was so worth it, though. I love it, and I think it keep me organized. I’m also loving this new theme so much. I didn’t really comment, but I was social on Twitter. I participated in a chat and made some new bloggy friends. A pretty good Bloggiesta!

It’s pretty huge for me too, but when Ashley posted her Sideways theme I knew I had to have it. I stayed up late last night playing around with it. I think I have it the way I want it now.

Me too! When I first saw it, I knew I wanted to switch to it. I was already thinking of trying a new theme out. Thanks for everything, Ashley!

We switched to Bookhost as well and are loving it. Everything loads so much faster and I haven’t encountered the errors I used to on our other host. So nice! Great goals and I hope you get through everything. :)
